Fieldtrip to Knavesmire Wood
Barbara Hickman led a cold but enjoyable visit to Knavesmire Wood and the grounds of Middlethorpe Hall, York, on Saturday 6th March. We looked at identification of trees in winter by buds or bark and listened to some early birdsong.
